At Taino Woods Sanctuary, we are co-creating a new world by tapping into the Divine Love within us and bringing healing harmony to all nations and tribes – Han Hankatu! (Let It Be So!) We believe that by working together with respect, honesty, and kindness, we can create a safe and nurturing environment for all who visit. We offer our thanks and acknowledgment to the Lenape and Munsee Tribes, the original stewards of this land.

A pillar of our beliefs is that Atabeyra (Mother Earth) is the original sanctuary; and we encourage all who are called to visit to be present with gratitude and respect for the power of this planet. The lush forest and sweet running river of Taino Woods Sanctuary will remind you of all that we are made of and all that we can create together.

We started off as only four: Chantel, Jesse, the kids & Spirit; and now we are growing into a team of dedicated land stewards who are bringing healing and reciprocity to All Our Relations and Nations. (In our Taino belief, All Our Relations include all of whom are born of our Mother Earth.)

TW has been a safe cradle to learn and reclaim our ancestral Taino practices and elemental wisdom. The land and her keepers, Chantel & Jessie have grown my heart and my survival skills immensely. My name is Alycia and I went to Taino Woods for the first time recently. It was for a Spring Equinox sweat lodge ceremony. When I arrived I was warmly welcomed by Chantel and Jessie who are the owners, along with everyone else who was attending ceremony as well.
Before sweat, I helped with collecting kindling for the fire, setting up the tent, & learning how to dress the Inipi (sweat lodge). However, ceremony really started the moment I stepped onto the land.
